Strawberries at Brookside Elementary School!

After an intense week participating in candidate forums/debates, I was able to spend an enjoyable Friday morning with the Oak Park school board delivering strawberries to schools to express appreciation for inspirational teaching by faculty and staff.



Congratulations to Brookside Elementary for being named California Distinguished School!

Kudos to the comprehensive and alternative high schools and the independent school for successful WASC accreditation visits!

In all cases, the visiting teams were very impressed by the best practices of our schools.
