Community Leader Carmen Ramirez Endorses Marie Panec for Congress

Ventura, CA – Community Leader Carmen Ramirez, former Director of Community Planning for the Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy (CAUSE) has endorsed Marie Panec for Congress in the June 8 primary election for California’s 24th district.

Announcing her endorsement, Ramirez said, "Marie Panec is a dedicated community leader with proven experience as a two term, elected member of a local school board and college professor with a strong reputation for integrity. Along with her practical vision of creating opportunities for meaningful jobs, environmental sustainability and education, I trust Marie to be a real representative in Congress for the people who live, work and raise families in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. I'm happy to endorse Marie Panec in the June 8th Democratic primary election in District 24.”

As an attorney, Ramirez has specialized in issues such as Social Security benefits, children, unemployment insurance, Medi-Cal, housing and the rights of seniors.

Marie Panec is a candidate in the 24th congressional district, spanning Ventura and most of Santa Barbara Counties.
